WETHERSFIELD, CT — A man was arrested after allegedly brandishing a firearm at two people, including a juvenile, in a Department of Motor Vehicles parking lot.
Officers responded to 60 State Street at approximately 6:30 p.m. Wednesday for a report of a threatening incident involving the display of a firearm.
The investigation revealed that Dominic Meucci, 46, of Wethersfield, was operating a Subaru and yelling at two victims operating E-bikes in the parking lot.
Meucci brandished a firearm at the victims, one of whom was a juvenile, according to police.
Police also discovered that Meucci was intoxicated while carrying a firearm.
Meucci was charged with carrying a firearm while intoxicated, carrying a dangerous weapon, use of a firearm during the commission of a Class A, B, or C felony, two counts of illegal possession of a large capacity magazine, two counts of risk of injury to a minor, two counts of first-degree threatening, two counts of second-degree breach of peace and illegal operation of a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
Meucci posted $250,000 bond and is scheduled for arraignment at New Britain Superior Court on April 16.
