Man arrested for disruption of religious services in Great Neck

GREAT NECK, NY — A 34-year-old man has been arrested after allegedly disrupting religious services at multiple houses of worship on Saturday morning.

Bilal Kayani, of Elmont, was charged with two counts of disruption of a religious service, according to Nassau County police.

Officers responded to Middle Neck Road in the vicinity of Millbrook Court at 10:48 a.m. for a report of a disturbance.

Police said a man was driving a black Jeep in the vicinity of numerous houses of worship while yelling out the window.

The man’s actions caused disruptions of religious services taking place, according to police.

Following an investigation, Kayani was located and arrested without incident.
