CHELSEA, VT — A Corinth man faces charges after a single-vehicle crash on March 20, 2026.
Deputy Jackson Howe responded to the accident at approximately 5:21 p.m. on Vermont Route 110 at Bobbinshop Road.
A northbound vehicle left the roadway and struck a telephone pole, according to police.
The operator was identified as Joshua Corbeil, 33, of Corinth.
During the investigation, Deputy Howe observed signs of impairment.
Corbeil was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence.
Police also discovered Corbeil was driving with a criminally suspended license.
Corbeil refused chemical testing, according to the report.
He was transported to the Royalton State Police Barracks for processing.
Corbeil was released with a criminal citation to appear at Orange County Superior Court on April 8, 2026, at 8:30 a.m.
The Chelsea Volunteer Fire Department, First Branch Ambulance, a Barre Town police officer and Ward’s Towing assisted at the scene.
