WORCESTER, MA — A man was arrested after an armed robbery at a bank on Main Street on March 23, 2026.
Worcester Police officers responded to Beacon Bank at approximately 1:44 p.m. for a reported armed robbery.
A male entered the bank and demanded money while claiming he had a firearm, according to police.
No one was injured during the robbery.
Officers located the suspect on Sagamore Road and took him into custody without incident.
A bag full of cash was found on his person, police said.
No firearm was located.
Michael Decarolis, 67, of Worcester, has been charged with armed robbery.
