MT. HOLLY, VT — Vermont State Police are investigating a two-vehicle crash that occurred on Route 103 near Hortonville Road on March 19, 2026.
Troopers from the Rutland Barracks responded to the scene at approximately 3:28 p.m.
Police said Cara Philbin, 39, of Ludlow, was driving a 2000 Volvo S70 westbound on Route 103 behind a 2023 Ford Transit operated by Blake Klein, 42.
Klein was attempting to turn right onto Hortonville Road when Philbin attempted to pass the vehicle, according to police.
The front passenger side fender of Klein’s vehicle struck the rear driver side door and window of Philbin’s vehicle, police said.
Philbin’s vehicle sustained moderate damage to the rear driver side door and window, as well as moderate front end damage.
Klein’s vehicle sustained slight damage to the front passenger side fender.
Both operators were wearing seat belts and no injuries were reported.
Road conditions were dry and weather was cloudy at the time of the crash.
