BAKERSFIELD, VT — Vermont State Police are investigating a single-vehicle crash that occurred on Boston Post Road on March 22, 2026.
Troopers received a report of the crash at approximately 3:55 p.m. and responded to the scene near Birch Way.
Police located a 2021 Ford F-150 off the west side of the roadway.
The operator was identified as Matthew Borden, 33, of Richford.
Borden was transported to Northwestern Medical Center by Enosburg Ambulance Service for suspected minor injuries.
Police determined Borden was traveling north when he lost control and went off the roadway.
Road conditions at the time were extremely poor due to snow.
The vehicle sustained moderate front-end damage.
Borden was wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash.
Bakersfield Fire Department and Stone’s Towing assisted at the scene.
