ELMIRA, NY — A man already in custody at the Chemung County Jail has been arrested on a fugitive warrant from Pennsylvania.
Roman J. Coston, 33, was arrested on a Fugitive from Justice warrant out of Bradford County, Pennsylvania, according to the Chemung County Sheriff’s Office.
On March 20, the Chemung County Sheriff’s Office was notified by the Bradford County Sheriff’s Office that they had a warrant for Coston and wanted to extradite him.
Coston was subsequently determined to be in the custody of the Chemung County Jail.
After confirmation from Bradford County, Coston was arrested as a Fugitive from Justice.
Coston was processed and arraigned in the City of Elmira Court.
He was remanded back to the Chemung County Jail, awaiting extradition to Bradford County, Pennsylvania.
