BALLSTON, NY — A Saratoga Springs woman was arrested on drunken driving charges early Friday morning after being found passed out behind the wheel at a traffic intersection.
The Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of a vehicle stopped in traffic with the operator passed out at 2:09 a.m. at the intersection of state Route 146 and Riverview Road in the town of Clifton Park.
The vehicle left before patrols arrived but was stopped shortly thereafter on Round Lake Road in the town of Ballston.
Hadiya G. Rathbone, 25, of Saratoga Springs, was charged with driving while intoxicated and operating a motor vehicle with a blood alcohol content of 0.08% or greater, both unclassified misdemeanors.
Rathbone is accused of operating a motor vehicle while in an intoxicated condition and at a time when her blood alcohol content was 0.13%.
She was also charged with failing to keep right.
Rathbone was released on appearance tickets pending proceedings in Ballston Town Court.
