NEW HAVEN, VT — A two-vehicle crash occurred on U.S. Route 7 near the intersection with South Middlebrook Road on March 20, 2026.
Troopers responded to the scene at approximately 1:32 p.m.
Investigation revealed a 2014 Subaru Forester operated by Amanda Brinkman, 44, of Vergennes, was traveling south on U.S. Route 7.
A 2017 Ford F-150 operated by Rolando Jimenez, 61, of San Antonio, Texas, was traveling south on U.S. Route 7 directly behind the Subaru.
The Subaru began to turn right into Addison County Alignment & Repair.
At the same time, the Ford left the roadway before colliding with the Subaru.
Both vehicles came to rest on the southbound shoulder of U.S. Route 7.
No injuries were reported.
Both operators were wearing seat belts.
The Ford sustained front-driver’s side contact damage, and the Subaru sustained passenger’s side contact damage.
Weather conditions at the time were snowy with wet road conditions.
Troopers were assisted on scene by the New Haven Fire Department and Bristol Rescue Squad.
No court action was taken.
