BRADFORD, VT — Vermont State Police responded to a single-vehicle crash on Interstate 91 southbound near mile marker 97 on March 21, 2026, at approximately 11:39 a.m.
The operator, Judith Bourque, 67, of Kirby, fell asleep and drifted off the interstate, according to police.
Bourque awoke and overcorrected, steering left into the backside of the guardrail.
The 2019 Toyota Rav4 then traveled over the guardrail and came back onto the interstate.
Bourque was wearing a seat belt and no injuries were reported.
The vehicle was totaled and removed by JTB Towing due to extensive damage.
Road conditions were dry and weather was cloudy at the time of the crash.
