PLATTSBURGH, NY — A man was arrested on a warrant alleging he violated the conditions of his probation.
Kurt R. Shepard, 65, of Plattsburgh, was taken into custody at 10:26 a.m. March 20, 2026, by Clinton County Sheriff’s deputies.
The warrant was issued by Clinton County Supreme Court.
Shepard was originally placed on probation following a conviction of criminal sale of a controlled substance in the third degree on Jan. 7.
He was arraigned at Clinton County Supreme Court and remanded to the Clinton County Correctional Facility without bail.
Shepard is scheduled to appear in Clinton County Supreme Court at a later date to face the allegations.
