LINCOLN, RI — Rhode Island State Police arrested five people over the weekend on various charges ranging from drug offenses to domestic violations.
On Friday, March 20, at 11:30 a.m., troopers arrested Marcos Caceres Nunez, 24, of Providence, for duty to stop accident resulting in damage to an attended vehicle.
The arrest was the result of an investigation and Caceres Nunez being located by the Warwick Police Department.
Caceres Nunez was processed at the Lincoln Woods Barracks, arraigned and released pending a future date at the Sixth Division District Court.
On Saturday, March 21, at 12:43 a.m., troopers arrested Jared Acosta, 26, of Providence, on an affidavit and arrest warrant for obstructing an officer in the execution of duty originating out of the Lincoln Woods Barracks.
The arrest was the result of an investigation and Acosta being located by the Middletown Police Department.
Acosta was processed at the Lincoln Woods Barracks, arraigned and released pending a future date at the Third Division District Court.
On Saturday, March 21, at 12:45 a.m., troopers arrested Sean Williams, 47, of Atlanta, Georgia, for domestic violation of a no contact order – first offense.
The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Pawtucket Avenue in Pawtucket.
Williams was processed at the Lincoln Woods Barracks and held overnight pending arraignment/presentment as a probation violator.
On Saturday, March 21, at 1:52 a.m., troopers arrested Andrew M. LeClair, 26, of Coventry, for manufacturing/delivery/possession with intent to deliver a Schedule I/II controlled substance (crack cocaine) and manufacturing/delivery/possession with intent to deliver a Schedule I/II controlled substance (fentanyl).
The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Route 95 in Providence.
LeClair was processed at the Lincoln Woods Barracks and held overnight pending arraignment/presentment as a bail violator.
On Saturday, March 21, at 3:04 a.m., troopers arrested Aleceiby Araujo Ventura, 30, of Warwick, for reckless driving and duty to stop accident resulting in damage to an attended vehicle.
The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle crash investigation on Route 95 in Pawtucket.
Araujo Ventura was processed at the Lincoln Woods Barracks, arraigned and released pending a future date at the Sixth Division District Court.
