DELEVAN, NY — A man was arrested on a rape charge March 19, 2026.
Zackry J. Sawyer was taken into custody at 10:06 a.m. following an investigation, according to the Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office.
Sawyer was charged with rape in the second degree.
He was transported to the Yorkshire Substation for processing and arraigned in Yorkshire Town Court.
Sawyer was remanded to the Cattaraugus County Jail.
He is scheduled to appear in Yorkshire Town Court at a later date.
