PAINTED POST, NY — State Police arrested a 36-year-old man in connection with a larceny investigation.
Randall L. Holman, of Addison, was taken into custody March 16 by members of the Corning Police Department on outstanding warrants.
State Police responded and took custody of Holman, placing him under arrest on charges of grand larceny in the fourth degree, a felony, and petit larceny, a misdemeanor.
The charges stem from an incident Dec. 30, 2025, when State Police responded to a report of a larceny at an apartment on North Hamilton Street in Painted Post.
The investigation revealed that Holman allegedly took multiple items belonging to the victim, including an electric bicycle, without permission.
A warrant was requested March 5 through the Town of Erwin Court, and a bench warrant was subsequently issued.
Holman was transported to State Police barracks in Painted Post for processing and remanded to the Steuben County Jail for centralized arraignment.
