WEST ROXBURY, MA — A 44-year-old man was arrested Thursday on drug distribution charges following a search warrant execution at a residence on Glenhaven Road.
Bertholand Bruno, of West Roxbury, was taken into custody by officers from the Drug Control Units of District E-5 and A-1 after police executed a search warrant at 39 Glenhaven Road.
The investigation was initiated after police received multiple community complaints about illegal drug distribution in the area.
During the search, officers recovered two plastic bags of crack cocaine, 42 strips of suboxone, drug-making material, a digital scale and approximately $29,800 in U.S. currency.
Bruno faces charges of possession with intent to distribute class B crack cocaine and possession with intent to distribute class B suboxone.
Detectives will also seek seven additional counts of distribution of class B crack cocaine.
Bruno is expected to be arraigned in West Roxbury District Court.
