WHITEHALL, PA — A driver escaped serious injury after their vehicle overturned following a collision with a parked car on Spring Valley Drive.
The two-vehicle accident occurred in the 5300 block of Spring Valley Drive.
Officers arrived to find one vehicle on its side with the operator still inside.
Volunteer firefighters safely removed the operator from the overturned vehicle.
The police investigation revealed that the operator swerved to miss a deer that ran onto the road and struck an unoccupied vehicle parked on the side of the road.
The collision caused the vehicle to roll onto its side.
No serious injuries were reported in the accident and no emergency medical transport was required.
Speed does not appear to be a factor in the accident, according to police.
