WARWICK, NY — Police executed a search warrant at a local insurance agency as part of an ongoing fraud investigation.
Town of Warwick Police detectives searched Fullerton Insurance on Monday in conjunction with the Orange County District Attorney’s Office.
The search warrant was executed at the business on State Route 94 North for the purpose of obtaining documentation, electronic devices and other potential evidence related to suspected fraudulent activity.
The investigation began following a complaint from a client of the agency.
Investigators have since received over 20 additional reports from individuals who believe they may have been similarly affected.
Police are requesting that anyone who believes they may have been a victim of fraud involving the insurance agency contact the Detective Division at 845-986-5000.
