VETERAN, NY — A man was arrested on a trespass charge following an incident in the town.
Jesse J. Foster, 26, of Veteran, was arrested March 17, 2026, for trespass, a violation, according to the Chemung County Sheriff’s Office.
Foster was issued an appearance ticket to appear in Veteran Town Court at a later date.

ELMIRA HEIGHTS, NY — A man was arrested on an outstanding bench warrant for failure to appear.
Raymond J. Patelunas III, 29, of Elmira Heights, was arrested March 18, 2026, on a bench warrant issued by Elmira Town Court on Feb. 12, 2026, according to the Chemung County Sheriff’s Office.
The warrant was for charges of aggravated unlicensed operation in the third degree.
Patelunas was issued an appearance ticket to appear in Elmira Town Court at a later date.

ELMIRA, NY — A man was arrested on an outstanding bench warrant for failure to appear.
Cody J. Gaylord, 37, of Elmira, was arrested March 18, 2026, on a bench warrant issued by Horseheads Town Court on March 12, 2026, according to the Chemung County Sheriff’s Office.
The warrant was for charges of burglary in the second degree, criminal obstruction of breathing or blood circulation and harassment in the second degree.
Gaylord was arraigned by Horseheads Town Court and remanded to the Chemung County Jail in lieu of bail.
