Man arrested on theft, drug charges in New Castle

NEW CASTLE, PA — Police arrested a Pennsylvania man Thursday on felony retail theft and drug charges.

Canton Dayshawn Blakey, 36, of Pennsylvania, was taken into custody by the New Castle Police Department on March 19.

Blakey was wanted in connection with a retail theft incident that occurred on Oct. 7.

He also faces a felony charge of possession with intent to deliver in a separate case.

A warrant was issued for Blakey’s arrest on Nov. 12 by Honorable Melissa A. Amodie.

Blakey was arraigned Thursday.
