PRINCETOWN, NY — State Police arrested a Schenectady man on March 13, 2026, on charges related to child sexual exploitation.
Rahmeek E. Stephens, 24, of Schenectady, was charged with Promoting a Sexual Performance by a Child, a class D felony, and Possessing a Sexual Performance by a Child, a class E felony.
State Police were assisted by the Troop G Computer Crimes Unit, the Internet Crimes Against Children Taskforce and the U.S. Department of Homeland Security.
Stephens is accused of promoting and possessing images consistent with child sexual exploitation.
The investigation stemmed from a cyber tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.
Police executed a search warrant at Stephens’ residence in Schenectady on March 13, 2026.
Stephens was processed at State Police Princetown.
He was arraigned at Schenectady City Court and remanded to the Schenectady County Correctional Facility in lieu of $2,500 cash or $5,000 bond.
