MONSEY, NY — Two people have been arrested in connection with stolen vehicles and larcenies from vehicles in the Monsey area over a three-day period, according to the Town of Ramapo Police Department.
A 36-year-old man from Spring Valley was arrested on multiple charges including two counts of grand larceny in the third degree, two counts of grand larceny in the fourth degree (motor vehicle), two counts of unauthorized use of a vehicle, two counts of petit larceny, and criminal possession of stolen property in the fourth and fifth degrees.
The arrests are related to three separate incidents that occurred between March 15 and March 17, 2026.
The man was arraigned and remanded to Rockland County Jail.
A 19-year-old woman from Wappingers Falls was arrested on charges of grand larceny in the third degree and grand larceny in the fourth degree (motor vehicle).
Police said the woman was involved in the larceny with the male suspect.
She was arraigned and released on her own recognizance.
Both suspects are due back in court at a later date.
Police are reminding residents to lock their car doors and report suspicious activity.
