Police seek help in Newark

NEWARK, NJ — Newark Public Safety Director Emanuel Miranda Sr. is asking for the public’s help in identifying two males in connection with a shooting investigation stemming from an incident on March 11.

At about 8:19 p.m., the ShotSpotter detection system detected gunfire in the 400 block of South 10th Street.

Responding officers canvassed the area and found seven shell casings in the rear of a parking lot.
