BRUNSWICK, NY — State Police arrested a Troy man on a felony harassment charge March 12, 2026.
Joshua J. Wood, 45, of Troy, was charged with aggravated harassment in the second degree, a class E felony.
At about 4 p.m., investigators from the New York State Police Counterterrorism Intelligence Unit in partnership with the Federal Bureau of Investigations notified State Police Brunswick of antisemitic social media postings.
The investigation identified Wood as the owner of the profile allegedly publishing threatening material directed toward a local religious leader, members of the Jewish community and the U.S. President.
Wood was arrested and processed at State Police Brunswick.
He was arraigned at Schaghticoke Town Court where he was released on his own recognizance.
The Federal Bureau of Investigations Joint Terrorism Task Forces assisted in the arrest.
