JERICHO, VT — Vermont State Police arrested a Massachusetts man early Wednesday morning following a domestic assault incident.
David M. Medeiros, 23, of Boston, was taken into custody at approximately 4:06 a.m. at a residence on Hirams Crossing.
Troopers from the Williston Barracks responded to a report of a domestic assault at the location.
An investigation revealed that Medeiros committed first degree aggravated domestic assault by assaulting a household member, according to police.
Medeiros was also charged with interference with access to emergency services.
He was transported to the Williston Barracks for processing.
Medeiros was then brought to Chittenden County Court, where he was held to appear before a judge at 8:30 a.m. Wednesday.
