ROME, NY — A woman was arrested following an investigation into a criminal mischief complaint at a Walmart parking lot.

According to Oneida County Sheriff Robert Maciol, deputies were dispatched to the Rome Walmart located at 5815 Rome-Taberg Road on Dec. 31 for a criminal mischief complaint.

Through the investigation, deputies learned the victim’s vehicle had been damaged following a dispute in the Walmart parking lot over a parking space.

Deputies later obtained an estimate for the damage caused to the victim’s vehicle, which totaled $6,794.83.

Due to the cost of the repair, the investigation was turned over to members of the Oneida County Criminal Investigations Unit.

Upon completion of the investigation, investigators arrested Samara Estradasaenz, 45, of Rome, and charged her with one count of criminal mischief in the second degree, a class D felony.

Estradasaenz was processed at the Oneida County Sheriff’s Office Law Enforcement Building and is due to be arraigned in CAP court.
