ONEONTA, NY — A 62-year-old man was arrested on drunken driving charges following a property damage motor vehicle accident.
David C. Decker of Otego was charged with driving while intoxicated, first offense, and driving while ability impaired by alcohol on March 11, 2026, according to the Otsego County Sheriff’s Office.
Decker was also charged with driving on shoulders and slopes, moved from lane unsafely, failed to keep right, and speed unreasonable and prudent.
The Sheriff’s Office investigated the property damage motor vehicle accident in the Town of Oneonta.
Decker was found to be driving the motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol, according to the Sheriff’s Office.
He was processed and released with uniform traffic tickets and appearance tickets.
Decker is scheduled to appear in Oneonta Town Court at a later date.
