KILLINGTON, VT — Vermont State Police responded to a two-vehicle crash on East Mountain Road on March 14, 2026.
The crash occurred at approximately 10:57 a.m. during snowing conditions with snow-covered roads.
Agustin Orellana, 24, of Rutland, was traveling west on East Mountain Road when he failed to navigate a turn safely due to weather conditions, according to police.
Orellana’s 2009 Audi A6 left the westbound lane and crashed head-on into a 2017 Toyota Tacoma driven by Kyle Heimann, 25, of Rutland, who was traveling east.
Both vehicles sustained significant front-end damage.
Neither operator reported injuries from the crash.
Both operators were wearing seat belts.
Killington First Response and Killington Auto assisted troopers at the scene.
