Rollover crash reported in Moretown

MORETOWN, VT — Vermont State Police responded to a single-vehicle rollover crash on Vermont Route 100B near Old Route 100 on March 15, 2026, at approximately 1:48 a.m.

A 17-year-old juvenile from Waitsfield was operating a 2004 Ford Ranger when the vehicle lost control on the icy roadway.

The vehicle departed the road and overturned.

The operator was wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash.

Moretown Fire Department and Mad River Valley Ambulance Service also responded to the scene.

MRVAS personnel evaluated the operator for possible injuries, but no transport to a medical facility was required.

The vehicle was totaled in the crash.

Weather conditions at the time were clear, but road conditions were icy.
