PLYMPTON, MA — Plympton Police officers conducted a motor vehicle stop on Main Street that led to drug trafficking charges.
The stop occurred at approximately 1 a.m. on March 15, 2026.
During the investigation, a Massachusetts State Police K9 conducted a free-air sniff of the vehicle.
The K9 indicated to the presence of narcotics within bags inside the vehicle.
Officers conducted a search of the bags which resulted in the discovery of controlled substances.
During a subsequent search incident to arrest, additional narcotics were located on one of the suspects.
The passenger was arrested and charged with Trafficking in Methamphetamine (18 grams or more but less than 36 grams), Possession of a Class B Substance, and four counts of Possession of a Class E Substance.
The operator of the vehicle was also charged with Possession of a Class E Substance.
