GEORGIA, VT — Vermont State Police are investigating a two-vehicle collision that occurred Thursday evening at the intersection of Ethan Allen Highway and Plains Road.
Troopers from the St. Albans Barracks responded to the crash at approximately 5:56 p.m.
The operator of a 2015 Toyota Camry, Aryn Dinunzio, 35, of Georgia, was traveling north on Ethan Allen Highway when the vehicle attempted to turn left onto Plains Road.
The Camry collided with a 2024 Subaru Crosstrek operated by Benjamin Leclair, 47, of Georgia, who was traveling south on Ethan Allen Highway.
Both vehicles sustained heavy front-end damage and airbag deployment.
Both operators were wearing seat belts and were evaluated for suspected minor injuries at the scene.
Neither operator was transported to a hospital.
The road was briefly shut down while an investigation was conducted and the vehicles were removed from the roadway.
Weather conditions were clear and the road was dry at the time of the crash.
The Georgia Fire Department, Fairfax Ambulance and Stone’s Towing assisted at the scene.
