HOLYOKE, MA — Police officers revived a man who overdosed early Sunday morning in an alleyway near 384 Appleton Street.
Officers responded to the scene around 5:10 a.m. and found an unresponsive adult male on the second floor of a porch.
Officer Yarshira Loyd administered Narcan while Officers Michael Chatel and James Kennedy provided assisted ventilation.
The man regained consciousness.
Officers found an empty bag of heroin next to the man.
He was transported to a local hospital for additional care.
