WEST WARWICK, RI — A West Warwick man was arrested early Thursday on a domestic violence warrant following a traffic stop.
Matthew Sweet, 40, of West Warwick, was taken into custody at 12:49 a.m. on Main Street.
Sweet was arrested on an affidavit and arrest warrant for domestic violence – no contact order originating from the Warwick Police Department.
He was transported to the Rhode Island State Police Hope Valley Barracks for processing.
Sweet was later transported to the Warwick Police Department.
