Fraudulent ATM withdrawals investigated in New London

NEW LONDON, CT — Police are seeking the public’s help in identifying two suspects captured on surveillance footage making fraudulent withdrawals from ATMs on March 11, 2026.

The incidents occurred around 7 p.m. at multiple locations throughout the city.

Authorities believe the two individuals were working together to target the ATM locations.

No skimming devices were found at the scenes, according to police.

Police are urging residents to monitor their bank accounts and credit card statements regularly and report any unauthorized transactions immediately to their financial institution.

Authorities also recommend setting up transaction alerts on accounts, using ATMs in well-lit, high-traffic areas when possible, and covering the keypad when entering a PIN.
