WILKES-BARRE TOWNSHIP, PA — Police arrested a woman after a complainant reported several credit cards belonging to her late husband had been taken from his wallet while he was receiving in-home medical care.

Jadelin Javier-Santiago, 29, of Wilkes-Barre, was charged with credit card fraud.

The complainant stated the cards were discovered missing in November and unauthorized charges were later found at Sam’s Club.

The complainant provided police with a list of multiple caregivers who had access to the residence during that time through a senior home care provider.

Review of store membership records and surveillance footage at Sam’s Club showed Javier-Santiago completing a transaction using the victim’s credit card.

A check of the caregivers list provided by the complainant found that Javier-Santiago was listed among the caregivers who had been in the residence caring for the victim.
