POULTNEY, VT — Vermont State Police are investigating a single-vehicle crash that occurred on March 13, 2026.
Troopers from the Rutland Barracks responded to the incident on Vermont Route 30 near Windywood Acres Road at approximately 7:30 a.m.
Police said Tamara Gibbs, 31, of Poultney, was traveling north on Route 30 in a 2023 Chevrolet Equinox when she was unable to maintain her lane of travel.
The vehicle exited the right side of the roadway and collided with a tree.
Gibbs was wearing a seat belt and sustained no injuries.
The vehicle sustained moderate front-end damage.
Road conditions were dry with patches of ice at the time of the crash, and weather was clear.
Poultney Rescue and Poultney Fire Department assisted at the scene.
