MILTON, NY — A Malta man was arrested Thursday following a harassment complaint on Geyser Road.
Ford T. Fafard, 26, of Malta, was charged with aggravated family offense, criminal contempt in the 1st degree and aggravated harassment in the 2nd degree.
The Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office responded to the complaint at 12:30 p.m.
Fafard is alleged to have violated an order of protection by threatening to kill the protected person via telephone.
He is also accused of committing a specified offense under the statute having previously been convicted of a specified offense within the immediately preceding five years.
Fafard was arraigned before the Honorable Steven L. Brown in Milton Town Court and remanded to the Saratoga County Jail pending further proceedings.
Aggravated family offense and criminal contempt in the 1st degree are class E felonies.
Aggravated harassment in the 2nd degree is a class A misdemeanor.
