CARTHAGE, ME — A multi-month investigation into drug trafficking led to several arrests at a residence on Carthage Road.
Members of the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office, the Maine Drug Enforcement Agency and the Rumford Police Department executed a search warrant March 11, 2026, at a residence owned by Michael Gordon Jr., 37, of Carthage.
Angel Rivera, 18, of Lawrence, Massachusetts, was charged with trafficking in scheduled drugs, a felony.
A 17-year-old juvenile from Haverhill, Massachusetts, was also charged with trafficking in scheduled drugs.
Both Rivera and the juvenile were additionally charged with possession of stolen firearms and destruction of evidence.
Autumn Bowie, 34, of Carthage, was arrested on an unrelated warrant.
James Barbioni, 42, of Strong, was charged with possession of scheduled drugs.
Officers seized over 150 grams of suspected scheduled drugs and more than $1,000 in suspected proceeds from drug sales during the search.
