Detectives seek suspect in breaking and entering in Dorchester

BOSTON, MA — Detectives are asking for the public’s help identifying a suspect in a breaking and entering that occurred in Dorchester.

The incident happened at approximately 6:05 p.m. on March 11, 2026, at 530 Columbia Road.

Police say a male suspect entered through the door and stole multiple tools and related items from the location.

The suspect is described as a Black male with short hair, wearing a white and black striped shirt and black pants.

Officers believe the suspect stole several items including a Craftsman drill, a DeWalt impact drill, a vacuum, a rain jacket, an electrical meter, and batteries and chargers for the DeWalt drill.
