WILKES-BARRE TOWNSHIP, PA — Police arrested two people at Mohegan Arena on March 6 after a disturbance involving multiple patrons.

Xavier D. Browning, 35, of New York, and Bianca Maria Rivera, 28, were taken into custody at 8:37 p.m.

Police said Rivera was warned multiple times for acting threatening toward other patrons and behaving in a disorderly manner.

Officers relocated Rivera to different seats, but she began confrontations with additional patrons, according to police.

Rivera was found to be intoxicated and refused police instructions to leave the premises, police said.

When officers attempted to remove Rivera from the building and place her in a police vehicle, she resisted, according to police.

As police physically picked Rivera up to place her in the vehicle, Browning interjected himself into the incident and began obstructing police, authorities said.

Browning started a physical altercation with police and fled on foot, attempting to jump a fence, where he was stopped by police, according to the report.

Browning resisted efforts to take him into custody, and a Taser was utilized, police said.

Browning was also found to be intoxicated, and both were transported to police headquarters for processing, according to police.

At the station, Browning was uncooperative and threatened to kill police and their families, authorities said.

He urinated on the floor, rolled around in it and spat toward police while proclaiming he was from New York and a gang member, according to police.

Browning was taken to Luzerne County Correctional Facility where bail was set.

Rivera is being charged with resisting arrest, public drunkenness, defiant trespassing and disorderly conduct.
