ALTOONA, PA — Four people were arrested following a drug bust that yielded more than a pound of methamphetamine.
Altoona Police Narcotics Division was contacted by State Parole Officers on March 9, 2026, who advised they were conducting a parole compliance check on parolee Ryan Dodson at a residence on E. Grant Avenue.
State Parole made contact with Dodson and found other occupants inside the residence.
They were identified as Ruth Rummell, Eugene Dodson and Gary Frederick.
While searching the parolee’s room, State Parole located scales, packaging material, money and a zip-top baggie containing approximately 24.3 grams of methamphetamine, along with several additional zip-top baggies containing methamphetamine.
Parole then stopped the search and contacted Altoona Police to assist with a search warrant.
A search warrant was compiled, approved and executed on the residence.
Officers seized over 1.3 pounds of methamphetamine, various controlled pills, $1,811 in cash, digital scales and packaging material.
All four were taken to the Blair County Prison for processing and arraignment on charges for conspiracy to commit possession with intent to deliver and possession with intent to deliver and related charges.
