SHELDON, VT — Vermont State Police arrested a motorist on suspicion of driving under the influence following a single-vehicle crash Sunday night.
Troopers responded to a report of a crash on Vermont Route 105 near Bedard Road at approximately 10:27 p.m.
The operator and sole occupant of the vehicle was identified as Carson Maskell, 20, of Swanton.
During the crash investigation, troopers observed indicators of impairment and screened Maskell for DUI.
He was placed into custody for suspicion of DUI and transported to the St. Albans State Police Field Station for processing.
Maskell was later released and issued a citation to appear in Franklin County Superior Court.
