Woman arrested on drug charges in Providence

PROVIDENCE, RI — A Providence woman was arrested on drug and warrant charges following a pedestrian stop on Broad Street.

Victoria J. Rogers, 25, of Providence, was taken into custody at 10:55 p.m. March 7 and charged with possession of a Schedule I-V controlled substance involving 10 grams of crack cocaine.

Rogers was also arrested on a Providence County Superior Court bench warrant for failure to appear on a technical violation related to an original charge of manufacturing/possession with intent to deliver a Schedule I/II controlled substance from the Pawtucket Police Department.

She was transported to the State Police Lincoln Woods Barracks, where she was processed and held pending morning arraignment as a bail violator.
