PITCAIRN, PA — A man facing multiple charges including homicide by vehicle and DUI has been taken into custody, the Allegheny County Sheriff’s Office announced.
Jordan Bowyer, 24, of Pitcairn, was arrested at his home without incident and transported to the Allegheny County Jail.
In September, a single vehicle accident took place along I-376 in which Bowyer was the operator.
A 20-year-old passenger was killed and a 26-year-old passenger was seriously injured as a result of the accident.
Following an investigation by the Pennsylvania State Police, Bowyer was charged with homicide by vehicle and DUI among other charges.
An arrest warrant was issued Saturday.
Detectives from the sheriff’s office developed information that Bowyer was at his home in Pitcairn and went to his house, where they took him into custody.
