POWNAL, VT — Vermont State Police arrested a man March 8, 2026, for allegedly violating an abuse prevention order.
Gary Tate Hall, 54, of Pownal, was taken into custody at approximately 1:12 p.m. after police were notified of the violation.
Investigators determined Hall made contact with an individual protected by a Relief from Abuse order.
Hall was transported to the Vermont State Police Shaftsbury Barracks for processing.
He was released and ordered to appear in Vermont Superior Court – Criminal Division in Bennington on March 9, 2026, at 12:30 p.m.
