SKOWHEGAN, ME — A traffic stop on Bennett Avenue on Sunday resulted in the arrest of four people in a stolen vehicle.
Deputy Conner Falardeau conducted the stop at approximately 10:57 a.m. on a silver 2025 Nissan Versa displaying a Florida license plate.
Deputy Falardeau recognized the vehicle from the state database as reported stolen the night prior out of Piscataquis County.
The driver was identified as Ryan Corson, 43, of Skowhegan.
Three passengers were identified as Hanna Gerrier, 34, of the Skowhegan area, Mike Medeiros, 41, of Skowhegan, and a female individual from the Skowhegan area.
Deputy Falardeau detained all four individuals and was assisted by Skowhegan Police and other Somerset County deputies.
A search of Medeiros revealed 5.8 grams of crack cocaine and an unprescribed suboxone strip.
A search of Corson revealed several articles of drug paraphernalia, including used needles.
Corson was arrested and charged with unauthorized use of property and operating a motor vehicle after habitual offender revocation, both Class C offenses.
Corson’s bail was set at $2,500 unsecured.
Gerrier was arrested on a warrant and charged with unauthorized use of property and violation of conditions of release.
Gerrier is being held without bail for underlying charges.
Medeiros was arrested and charged with unlawful furnishing of scheduled drug and unlawful possession of scheduled drug.
Medeiros’s bail was set at $500 unsecured.
All three defendants are scheduled for initial court appearances on May 6, 2026, at 8:30 a.m. at the Somerset County Unified Criminal Court.
The vehicle was towed and the Piscataquis County Sheriff’s Office was notified.
