Man arrested on drug charges in East Lansdowne

EAST LANSDOWNE, PA — A Chester City man faces drug and traffic charges following a traffic stop early Saturday morning on Baltimore Avenue.

Officers Owen Cosgrove, Joshua Taylor and Bhavin Patel were conducting a traffic enforcement patrol at 1:10 a.m. when they observed a white Lincoln traveling eastbound on Baltimore Avenue.

Police said the driver was seen interacting with a handheld device while operating the vehicle.

Officers conducted a traffic stop and identified the driver as Amin Nasir Dandridge, 25, of Chester City.

An investigation revealed the vehicle was fraudulently registered, according to police.

A search of the vehicle uncovered numerous packets of suspected marijuana and drug paraphernalia, police said.

Dandridge was charged with delivery/intent to deliver drug paraphernalia, intent to possess a controlled substance by a person not registered and fraudulent use/removal of a registration plate.

He was booked at 401 Baltimore Ave. and will be arraigned before Magisterial District Court 32-2-51.
