ENOSBURG, VT — Vermont State Police are investigating a two-vehicle crash that sent one person to the hospital March 5.
The crash occurred at approximately 4:30 p.m. on Route 105 near the intersection of Orchard Street.
Police said Grace Ryea, 21, of Richford, was driving a 2014 Chevrolet Cruze eastbound on Route 105 and had stopped in the roadway to turn onto Orchard Street while waiting for oncoming traffic to pass.
Eric Vachon, 45, of Enosburg, was driving a 2013 Dodge Durango eastbound on Route 105 behind the Cruze and rear-ended it, sending the vehicle completely off the roadway.
Ryea sustained minor injuries and was transported to Northwest Medical Center.
Vachon was not injured.
Both operators were wearing seat belts.
The Cruze sustained damage that will likely total the vehicle, while the Durango sustained front-end damage.
Road conditions were dry and weather was clear at the time of the crash.
