LOWELL, MA — Police arrested a man on multiple charges of breaking and entering motor vehicles following an investigation into a series of car break-ins.
Approximately 15 vehicles were targeted in the incidents, according to the Lowell Police Department.
The suspect was identified from videos posted online by community members, police said.
A Neighborhood Response Unit officer conducted extensive follow-up work in the neighborhood that yielded additional videos and police reports.
The suspect has also been identified in similar incidents in Dracut, police said.
Police urged residents who have video footage of individuals breaking into or attempting to break into vehicles to report the incidents to the department.
