Retail theft suspect wanted in Wilkes-Barre Township

WILKES-BARRE TOWNSHIP, PA — Police are searching for a man wanted on a warrant in connection with a retail theft at the Wyoming Valley Mall.

The suspect entered JCPenney on March 5, 2026, and committed a retail theft, according to the Wilkes-Barre Township Police Department.

Loss prevention personnel approached the suspect, who then fled the store.

Police were unable to locate the suspect following the incident.

The department identified the suspect on March 6, 2026, and an active warrant was issued for his arrest.

Police are asking anyone who sees the suspect to call 911.

Anyone with information regarding the suspect’s whereabouts or other criminal activity in the Wilkes-Barre Township area is asked to contact Wilkes-Barre Township Police by messaging the department’s social media page, texting 570-760-0215, calling 570-208-4635 ext. 305, or emailing [email protected].

The suspect can also turn himself in at 150 Watson Street in Wilkes-Barre Township.
