WATERVILLE, VT — A Hyde Park man was arrested Friday morning on an outstanding warrant during a traffic stop on VT Route 15 in Waterville.
Troopers with the Vermont State Police Williston Barracks stopped a vehicle at approximately 9:15 a.m. after observing an equipment violation.
The driver was identified as Arlen R. Jewett Jr., 56, of Hyde Park.
Police determined that Jewett had an active in-state cite and release warrant for fraud out of Chittenden County.
Jewett was issued a citation to appear in Chittenden County Superior Court, Criminal Division, on March 9 at 8:30 a.m.
